Keep your eyes straight
Don’t eat the crust
Bring the charger with you
Or
Bite the chain link
Suck down the exhaust
Sleep in the blankets
Of a homeless man
Night Church
Whispered breaths
Delicately walk
Upon the ceiling
Over heavy souls
Someone snores
No one dares to exhale
Gasworks Park (2/21/2015)
The humans
Look good today
The humans
Want to tell each other
The humans
Are not prepared
To be that which is
What sets them apart
The Dead Loved Leisure
Many died
So you could
Eat your Cheetos
With a fork
Make your dog
Sit and stay
Sleep away
The weekend days
And wake up late
To evening light
Many died
Many died
Many died
To keep it that way
